Keane takes 2nd at state
Meadowdale junior Jonathan Keane finished in a four-way tie for second place at the Class 3A state boys golf tournament May 25 at the Apple Tree Golf Course in Yakima. Keane shot a 70 on the first day and a 72 on the second day for a two-day total of 142, one stroke behind winner Chris Killmer of Bellingham, who finished with a 141.
Lions headed to track finals
Snohomish County Christian School’s Catie Livingston qualified in three events for the Class B state track and field championships in Cheney this weekend. Livingston was second in the shot put, third in the discus and fourth in the javelin. Teammate Kacie Zuspan also qualified in the high jump. Kinsella hits a hole-in-one
Kevin Kinsella hit a hole-in-one on the 120-yard, No. 17 hole May 19 at the Lynnwood Golf Course using a pitching wedge. Rick Parfiti also hit a hole-in-one on the 165-yard, No. 2 hole April 28 with a five-iron.
