Everett hosts V-ball tourney
The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association announced this month that the Class 3A and 4A state volleyball tournaments will return to the Everett Events Center in November, albeit a week earlier.
The tournaments, traditionally held the second weekend in November, will be held Nov. 5-6. The time change was made in order to keep the tournaments in Everett, the WIAA said in a press release. The Everett Events Center was not available the following weekend.
Everett hosted the Class 3A and 4A state tournaments for the first time last season.
