Athletes recognized
Lynnwood’s Erica Page and Bothell’s Travis Hilderbrand are among the students listed in the 2003-04 edition of Who’s Who Among American High School Students Sports Edition.
Athletes are nominated by coaches, teachers and sports organizations based on athletic achievement and participation in extra curricular activities. Who’s Who Sports Edition students also compete for $10,000 in scholarship awards.
Coleman places first
Meadowdale graduate Keith Coleman took first place in the overall gross division of the Western Washington Chapter PGA 2004 Club Car Chapter Championship Nov. 1-2 at the Washington National Golf Club.
Oltman earns soccer honor
Edmonds’ Shannon Oltman, a senior back for the University of New Hampshire women’s soccer team, earned American East honorable mention recognition. Oltman started in all 20 games and scored two goals and had two assists.
