EdCC grad recognized

Edmonds Community College graduate Ryan Hopp, a senior forward, was a unanimous first-team pick, heading eight Western Washington players named to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference men’s soccer all-star team.

Hopp was the GNAC’s second-leading scorer with 16 goals. He led the Vikings with 36 points and seven game-winning goals. A second-team league all-star in 2003, Hopp scored 23 goals during his two-year career to rank third among the school’s leaders.

Coleman places first

Meadowdale graduate Keith Coleman took first place in the overall gross division of the Western Washington Chapter PGA 2004 Club Car Chapter Championship Nov. 1-2 at the Washington National Golf Club.

Oltman earns soccer honor

Edmonds’ Shannon Oltman, a senior back for the University of New Hampshire women’s soccer team, earned American East honorable mention recognition. Oltman started in all 20 games and scored two goals and had two assists.
