EdCC grabs third place

The Edmonds Community College baseball team fell short in its quest for a third straight NWAACC championship.

The Tritons ended up placing third at the NWAACC tournament after losing 7-6 to Lower Columbia in the semifinals May 30 at Tri Cities Stadium in Pasco.

Edmonds, the North Division champion, wrapped up the season 38-9. Lane defeated Lower Columbia 3-2 in the championship game.

A week earlier, the Edmonds Community College softball team tied Shoreline for fifth place at the NWAACC tournament. Edmonds won the North Division title and finished with an overall record of 26-15.

College signings

The Enterprise sports department is compiling a list of high school seniors who will continue their athletic endeavors at the college level.
