British comedy invades Everett

Enjoy a mix of British humor and ’70s pizazz with “Bedroom Farce,” a PG-13 romp by Alan Ayckbourn.

The show follows four lively couples across one crazy night, displaying the various stages of love through a lifetime. Each relationship mirrors a quality of trust and security – or the lack thereof – developed over a couple’s time together.

There is the daring and impetuous joy of new lovers Kate and Malcolm, to the unshakable, time-tested comfort that lifelong partners Earnest and Delia share.

Trevor and his wife, Susannah, however, are somewhere in the middle, fighting hard to rekindle their excitement, or maybe just fighting to break free of a bad idea – and ruining a perfectly charming evening in three usually happy London bedrooms while they’re at it.

Will their bickering angst consume them? Or even worse, destroy the otherwise solid union of Jan and Nick? Not to give anything away, but it sure is fun to see what damage a good crazy or two can cause for some normal folks – or if they can cause any at all.

Red Curtain Productions brings you this hilarious look at marriage through the direction of Kimberly Riley, and a collection of local theater talent that includes Suzanne Soule, Jennifer Ropella Saul, Sharon Delong and newcomer Jeanine Clarke as the wives.

Their respective husbands are Charlie Butler (also new to the local stage), Jonathan Hawks, John Klise and Asa Sholdez.
