Call for artists: The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council seeks original artwork and graphic design for the 18th annual Shoreline Arts Festival poster. The 2008 Shoreline Arts Festival theme is “Green: Art and the Environment.” Artwork should be existing work and graphic design will be created specifically for the poster. An artist/graphic designer may be selected, or an artist and a graphic designer may be selected. Call for artists: The Mountlake Terrace Arts Commission seeks artists to submit design proposals for a public art piece to be placed on city property near the fire station. Proposals may be submitted by an artist or a team of artists and should include a description of the conceptual approach to the artwork, illustration of the design, description of materials that will be used, an itemization of the all costs, timeline and installation requirements and a resume of the artist, examples of the artists’ work and six references.
