Call for artists: The city of Edmonds is looking for original artwork representative of Puget Sound bird life to be used on the 2010 Puget Sound Bird Fest poster. The poster format is 11-by-17 inches. No photography will be accepted. A $100 prize will be awarded to the winner, who will be announced June 14. Deadline: May 28. Entries must include a signed entry form and $10 entry fee.

Call for artists: The Lynnwood Arts Commission is looking for entries for its annual juried themed art exhibit, which takes place Sept. 27-Nov. 18. The exhibit is titled “It’s Not Easy Being Green” and artists are invited to submit 2D and 3D work that explores the color green, the idea of environmentally green or any other interpretation of the word “green.” Deadline: July 31.
