The King’s volleyball team was crowned camp champions last week at Western Washington University team camp.
King’s defeated Meadowdale, Snohomish and Kamiak to win the post-camp tournament.
Varsity players participating were: seniors Ashley Strecker, Emily Martin, Chelsea Shapiro, Melisa Uvence, Alex Keeney and Carissa Clark; juniors Sara Mosiman and Jamie Hartman; and sophomore Kim Mayhle.
King’s placed second to Edmonds-Woodway in the six-team junior varsity tournament.
