The Edmonds Arts Commission presents a free concert in the park performed by the Celtic group Campbell Road Sunday, July 24 at Edmonds City Park.
Campbell Road plays traditional and contemporary Celtic music of Ireland and Scotland. The group features Dan Tuttle on guitar and banjo, Barbara Tuttle on bodhran (the Irish frame drum) and percussion, Jessamyn Tuttle on flute, pennywhistle and vocals and Jon Nauert on fiddle and bouzouki.
The group has been playing together for nine years and has performed at various venues around Washington State including Seattle’s Northwest Folklife Festival, Yakima Folklife festival, the Tumbleweed Festival and at several highland games. They have recorded three CDs, including their latest in 2005, “In Spite of Wind and Weather.”
The concert takes place from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 24 at Edmonds City Park, located at 3rd and Pine Streets in downtown Edmonds. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy an afternoon of entertainment.
