Cascade Conference soccer all-stars named

Two King’s boys soccer players earned All-Cascade Conference recognition this season. Junior defender Michael Kenyon made the first team and senior midfielder Christian Friberg made the second team.

Offensive player of the year: Sean Nelson, senior, Granite Falls

Defensive player of the year: Gerardo Resendiz, senior, Lakewood

Coach of the year: Zack Pittis, Cedarcrest

First team

Forwards: Evan Fassler, junior, Cedarcrest; Wayde Olson, senior, Sultan

Midfielders: AJ Gonzales, senior, Sultan; Eric Hawks, junior, Lakewood; Ethan Low, senior, South Whidbey; RJ Sorensen, junior, Cedarcrest
