LYNNWOOD — The Alderwood Terrace Rotary rolls in a fleet of classics for its third annual Classic, Sports &Muscle Car Show from 6 to 9 p.m. May 21 at the Edmonds Yacht Club.

“From a 1909 Buick to a 2010 Lamborghini with Packards, Bentleys, Ferraris and Porsches in between, all the cars have been handpicked for this event and most are of Concours (d’Elegance) quality,” said Kim Pierce, chair of the event.

Two of the highlights are a 1956 Gullwing Mercedes owned by Glenn Mounger, former co-chairman of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance; and a 1948 Ford Super Deluxe Woodie station wagon owned by Tom Bryant, editor emeritus of Road and Track Magazine.

Lance Lambert, host of the television show “Vintage Vehicle Show,” will be the emcee of this year’s event.

The Alderwood Terrace Rotary Club’s annual charity fundraiser benefits youth programs. Last year’s event raised more than $25,000.

Major sponsors include Mercedes-Benz of Lynnwood, Wesco Auto Paint, Pull A Part, Best Auto Parts and Comprehensive Wealth Management.
