Library budget public meetings
The Sno-Isle Regional Library Board of Trustees is seeking public feedback on upcoming 2004 budget plans. Through a three-part public comment effort, the Library District is hosting 11 public meetings throughout Snohomish and Island counties, providing an online mechanism for public comment, and conducting a random sample telephone survey to tap into residents’ thoughts about library services and budgeting.
Preliminary revenue estimates for 2004 show that the Sno-Isle Regional Library System will have $800,000 less than it needs next year to maintain the current level of service. As a result, the current level of library service will have to change. Some of the decisions about those changes will come from public feedback.

4 p.m. Mountlake Terrace Library, 23300 58th Ave. W.
