The Mill Creek City Council will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 26, to consider supporting or opposing Initiative 933, which addresses government regulation of private property.
The hearing takes place at Mill Creek City Hall, 15728 Main St.
Initiative 933, which is on the November ballot, would require compensation when government regulation damages the use or value of private property. It would forbid regulations that prohibit existing legal uses of private property, and would provide exceptions or payment.
Anyone may appear at the hearing and share their position on the initiative. People can also submit written comments to city clerk Kelly Hennessey, for consideration as part of the formal record up until the start of Tuesday’s meeting
For more information, call city clerk Kelly Hennessey at 425-921-5732.
