Classes, workshops and webinars: Learn essential Spanish for the workplace

Young aspiring business owners are invited to learn the basics on how to turn good ideas into profitable ventures at the live Twitter chat noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 19 hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration (@SBAgov). The event will be held during National Entrepreneurship Week, Feb. 15 to 22.

Learn essential Spanish vocabulary and phrases common in the health care workplace at a Spanish for Health Care Providers workshop 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 18 and 19 at Skagit Valley Hospital. The U.S. Small Business Administration has launched its 2014 Emerging Leaders executive-level intensive entrepreneurship training initiative for small business owners in 27 cities across the country including Seattle. Local recruitment for the 2014 training cycle is underway and classes are scheduled to begin in April.
