32nd Dist. picnic in Shoreline

Westminster garage sale
The Westminster Triangle neighborhood is having its annual garage sale from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, July 16. The neighborhood is bordered on the south by 145th Street, on the east by Aurora Avenue, on the west by Greenwood/ Westminster avenues and goes to a point on the north by Denny’s on 155th Street. Maps showing all garage sales will be available to shoppers at any of the sites in the Westminster Triangle.
Lake Forest Park ‘Food Frenzy’ set
The summer is when food banks have the greatest need. Residents can help hungry people by donating to FOOD FRENZY, from July 13-27. A collection bin will be located at Lake Forest Park City Hall, 17425 Ballinger Way NE, Lake Forest Park.
The16th annual food drive is organized by the Lake Forest Park Municipal Court and is a chance to help hungry children in the community and raise funds to benefit Food Lifeline and the 250 food banks that provide meal programs in Western Washington. Every $5 raised feeds 30 hungry children.
Food Lifeline is sponsoring FOOD FRENZY. Food Lifeline is a nonprofit agency dedicated to ending hunger in Western Washington.
Forum: ‘Sustaining a Liveable LFP’
A community forum, entitled “Sustaining a Liveable LFP: The Next Steps-Design Guidelines,” is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 20 at Third Place Commons, 17171 Bothell Way NE. The Community Forum will bring residents up-to-date on the planning for the future redevelopment of the Towne Centre property.
The following questions will be discussed:
• What are the existing conditions?
• Will the owner sell the shopping center?
• Will a new owner redevelop the site?
• If so, will it happen all at once or in phases?
• What could the redevelopment look like?
