Public hearing on building next week

The Mill Creek Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at its next meeting about a proposed office building.

The proposed development is a three-story, 8,600-square-foot office building with 32 parking spaces on 2.6 acres. The site is located at 16614 Ninth Ave. SE, south of the Creekside Professional Center, on the west side of Ninth Avenue SE.

The hearing is at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 19 at Mill Creek City Hall, 15728 Main St. For more information, call Christi Amrine at 425-745-1891.

Two file with state for re-election

Mill Creek City Council member Mary Kay Voss and Snohomish County Council member Dave Gossett, D-Mountlake Terrace, have both registered their intention to run for re-election this year with the state Public Disclosure Commission.

Voss is the only incumbent City Council member to file so far with the state commission. Four other seats on the Council are up for election this year.

As of The Enterprise deadline, no candidates for Fire Commissioner for Fire District 1 or 7 have filed, nor has anyone filed for the open seat on the Everett School Board.

Hearing on new subdivision set

The Snohomish County Hearing Examiner will conduct a hearing on a rezone for Waterford Ranch, a proposed 49-lot residential subdivision east of Mill Creek.

The project site is just east of the 164th Street SE/35th Avenue SE intersection. Its address is 3612 164th St. SE.

The hearing is at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 17 at the county administration building, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., in Everett.
