Club hosts anti-clutter program
Elisa Adams will present a program about organizing homes and eliminating clutter at next week’s Mill Creek Women’s Club meeting.
The meeting is set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 at the Mill Creek Country Club.
The club is open to women of all ages who reside in the city of Mill Creek. In addition to monthly meetings and luncheons, the club has other social events and supports YWCA Pathways for Women.

Forum on 2005 county budget
Snohomish County Executive Aaron Reardon will outline his 2005 budget during a 7 p.m. meeting Tuesday, Oct. 19 in the library of Jackson High School in Mill Creek, 1508 136th St. SE.
The meeting will be the third such session Reardon has scheduled around the county.
Sno-Isle seeks input on budget
The Sno-Isle Library District will have a pair of town hall meetings near Mill Creek about programs and the budget.
Participants will be able to log their votes regarding a handful of questions and see the results instantly.
The meetings nearest Mill Creek are: 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18 at Snohomish School District Headquarters, and 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21 at the Mountlake Terrace Library.

Nov. 2 City Council meeting canceled
The Mill Creek City Council recently voted to cancel the Nov. 2 study session because of the general election.
County land use hearing set
County planners will present the preferred future land use map at an open house from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 at Skyview Junior High School, 21404 35th Ave. SE., Bothell.
Attendees can learn about where and how the county plans accommodate growth. There will also be information about plans for transportation, surface water, utilities and parks. A presentation at 7 p.m. will describe the map and the next steps for completing the update.
