Celebration memorial for Cyr
A celebration memorial for Mill Creek resident and longtime community volunteer Jeanine Cyr is set for 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, April 17 at the Mill Creek Country Club, 15500 Country Club Drive.
Cyr, founder of Foundation for the Arts in Mill Creek and a former Mill Creek City Council member, died March 29, 2004 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 63.
The celebration is being hosted by the Foundation for the Arts in Mill Creek and the Mill Creek Rotary Club, where she was a longtime member.
YMCA healthy kids event is April 24
The Northshore YMCA of Bothell is hosting its Healthy Kids Day Saturday, April 24.
The free event features food, activities, games and prizes, including yoga classes and visits with local police and firefighters.
