Mothers of Twins Club 50th birthday
Halls Lake Mothers of Twins Club will celebrate its 50th birthday with a party at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6. Past and present members are encouraged to bring stories and photos to celebrate the unique organization’s history of service, support and sisterhood. Easter event on CRISTA Campus
Celebrate Easter with the family from 3-7 p.m. on Saturday, April 15. Free activities include an Easter egg hunt, inflatables, games, food, drama and music. Transfer, recycling station closing
The First Northeast Transfer and Recycling station is closing on May 1 for 18 months, while improvement work is completed. A public meeting for residents to learn more about the project is set from 6:30-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19 at Meridian Park Elementary School cafeteria, located at 17077 Meridian Ave. N., Shoreline.
The improvements will include: a separate yard waste recycling area, an enclosed transfer building with easier to use waste uploading areas, environmental enhancements to Thornton Creek and to public health, new layout to reduce neighborhood impacts, improved compaction and sustainable green building design to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.

Shoreline Chamber luncheon, April 12
The Shoreline Chamber of Commerce Luncheon is set from 11:45-1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12. Mike Benbow, business editor of the Everett Herald, will talk about some of the major business expansions and economic development projects throughout Snohomish county.
