Discover ways to turn creativity into a sustainable business at the BizArt 2009 conference for visual, literary and performing artists 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 20 and 21 at the Everett Transit Center, located at 3201 Smith St. in Everett.

Artist-led workshops will provide information and opportunities to learn about the business end of being an artist, including marketing, resource development and financial and legal issues. This year’s speaker is Tom 0’Neill, a pianist who will speak about how independent artists can not only make a living at what they love to do, but become successful, one step at a time.
