Drumming protestors draw complaints

Here are selected reports from Shoreline and Lake Forest Park police:

August 7

Animals. 15000 block 37th Ave. NE. Neighbors reported a barking dog with no one home.

Aid requested. 17400 block Ballinger Way NE. A woman requested aid for an allergic reaction to a bee sting.

August 6

Larceny. 1200 block NE 168th St. The victim claimed that their camera was stolen from their home.

Larceny. 15300 block Aurora Ave. N. A male suspect was cited for shoplifting from a local store.

August 5

Harassment. 5400 block NE 196th St. Someone left offensive messages on the victim’s door and lawn.

Juveniles. Corner of 37th Ave. NE and Hamlin Rd. NE. Drivers reported juveniles standing in or by the road, yelling at passing cars.

Suspicious circumstance. 16700 block 37th Ave. NE. A neighbor noticed lights on in a recently evicted house.

Larceny. 16100 block Greenwood Ave. Unknown suspects stole a video projector from a room.

Burglary. 1600 block Evanston Ave. N. Unknown suspects entered the victim’s home, stealing her purse, and using her keys to steal her vehicle.

August 4

Suspicious circumstance. 22400 block 9th Ave. SE. An individual reported two male juveniles drinking in a local park.

Mail theft. 1800 block N. 198th St. A victim reported items taken from her mailbox.

Larceny. Corner of NW 190th St. and 20th Ave. NW. Police responded to two smash and grab car prowls in a parking lot.

August 3

Vandalism. 16600 block 15th Ave. NE. A juvenile suspect was detained for kicking and breaking fence boards along a walkway.

Controlled substance violation. 18500 block Linden Ave. N. The suspect was arrested for possession of heroin.

Ordinance violation. 17000 block Brookside Blvd. NE. Police removed several signs from the roadside.

Suspicious circumstance. 18800 block 26th Ave. NE. A neighbor reported unknown suspects driving through the neighborhood, stopping to look through mailboxes.

Theft. 17000 block Bothell Way NE. A female victim reported her purse stolen from a bench.

Illegal dumping. 19700 block 35th Ave. NE. A resident reported suspects leaving garbage in his driveway.

August 2

Hit and run. 19000 block 53rd Ave. NE. An unknown suspect backed into the victim’s mailbox overnight.

Disturbance. 16000 block Bothell Way NE. Neighbors complained about the noise from drumming protestors at a nearby park.

Animals. 17700 block Bothell Way NE. Residents reported an injured bald eagle in their yard.

Suspicious circumstance. 3900 block NE 199th St. Residents were complaining about someone attempting to siphon gas out of their cars.

Auto theft. 1500 block 15th Ave NE. A male victim reported his vehicle stolen from his apartment parking garage.

August 1

Theft. 3800 block NE 155th Pl. A female victim reported jewelry and money missing from her apartment.

Juveniles. Corner of NE 195th St. and 32nd Ave. NE. Two juveniles were reportedly riding ATVs with no helmets.

Malicious mischief. 17300 block Beach Dr. NE. Several handrail posts along the road were kicked in or over.

Vandalism. 18500 block Palatine Pl. N. Suspects wrote an offensive message in chalk in front of the victim’s house.

Larceny. 16100 block Greenwood Ave. The victim’s locker was broken into and his cell phone was taken.

Vandalism. 16500 block Aurora Ave. N. A graffiti tag was left on a vehicle at a local repair shop.

Vandalism. 1200 block N. 155 St. Suspects sprayed gang graffiti on a service truck.
