Here are selected reports from Shoreline and Lake Forest Park police:
July 24
Suspicious circumstance. 14000 block Bothell Way NE. A very intoxicated male was sitting near the street when police approached him. An acquaintance came to pick him up, stating that he was too drunk to drive. The man was dressed like a pirate.
Theft. 17000 block Bothell Way NE. A male victim reported that his grey bicycle was stolen while he was in a local store. There are no known suspects.
July 23
Larceny. 19500 block 12th Ave. NW. A woman left her laptop computer unattended and returned to find it missing.
July 22
Vandalism. 17900 block Stone Ave. N. A victim reported that their car had been damaged. Suspects used a jar of pickle relish to smash the car’s rear window.
Suspicious circumstance. 19000 block 47th Pl. NE. A female victim claimed that someone shone a flashlight into her bedroom during the night.
Prowler, vehicle. 1600 Whitman Ave. N. An unknown suspect popped the lock on the victim’s car. The car was rummaged through, but nothing appeared to be missing.
Larceny. 15700 block Aurora Ave. N. A male suspect reportedly shoplifted items from a local store and tried to return them for cash.
Burglary. 20000 block Aurora Ave. N. Juvenile suspects reportedly used large rocks to break into a closed convenience store, take items and flee.
July 21
Disorderly conduct. 3200 block NE 195th St. A male suspect reportedly pulled into someone’s driveway and began urinating on their house. The man, along with two friends in their car, left before the homeowner or the police could identify them.
Burglary. 14700 block 28 Ave. NE. Suspects used a large rock to break through the rear sliding door for entry. Stolen content, if any, is unknown.
Fraud. 17000 block Ballinger Way NE. A man reported that his brother used his identity for a traffic violation when he was out of the area.
Larceny. 1200 block N 175th St. Suspects ordered food from a restaurant and didn’t pay
Burglary. 2700 block NE 184th St. A couple returned from vacation to find the back door to their house open. Reportedly nothing was missing. Police advised the victims to get an alarm.
Suspicious circumstance. 15500 block 27th Ave. NE. A family found a dead cat on their doorstep. The cat didn’t belong to them.
Burglary. 1500 block NE 168th St. Police arrested a man caught using a gate to gain entry to someone’s garage while they were away on vacation.
July 20
Disturbance. 18000 block 43rd Ave. N. Neighbors complained of dogs barking non-stop from a nearby home while the owners were away. They filed a complaint with King County Animal Control.
Disorderly conduct. 19000 block Ballinger Way NE. An intoxicated male was standing in the road, making vulgar comments at another male. He ran away before police arrived.
Suspicious circumstance. 1800 block N 189th St. A family returned to find their dog missing from their yard. Blood was found, but it was unknown whether it was from a human or another animal.
Suspicious circumstance. 18500 block 37th Ave. N. Two juveniles were found on the roof of a commercial building. Police asked them to get off and they would be informed if police found any damages as well.
July 19
Prowler, vehicle. 19000 block 10th Ave. NW. An unknown suspect gained entry to a car by breaking one of the rear side windows. Reportedly nothing was stolen.
Peddling. 16000 block 37th Ave. NE. A woman was selling magazines door-to-door without an approved permit.
July 18
Theft. 4600 block NE 189th Pl. Unknown suspects stole jewelry from the suspect’s house. The victim’s house is currently for sale and she has been living in another location.
Trespassing. 18000 block Aurora Ave. N. An intoxicated male was aggressively begging for money and wandering in and out of a store.
Larceny. 20300 block Ballinger Way Ne. An unknown suspect stole beer from a local market.
