Dumas Road continues to be closed to traffic daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. while crews work on various improvements.
During the last week, crews cleared trees along the road from North Creek Drive to the park and ride lot at the corner of 132nd Street SE.
Additional project information is available at www.cityofmillcreek.com.
Meanwhile, work on improvements to the intersection at 164th Street SE and Mill Creek Boulevard is expected to begin in January 2005.
This project will install a new traffic signal pole at the southwest corner and re-stripe the north leg of the intersection. This will allow the city of Mill Creek to modify the signal operation to help decrease traffic congestion and improve driver safety.
The sidewalk and curb ramps at each corner will also be replaced to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act regulations.
In addition, single lanes will be closed on Cascadian Way, 146th Street SW and Meridian Drive SE. Those lane closures are in effect during the daytime hours until Dec. 31 while crews extend a gas main.
