Dunshee, Lovick draw one opponent apiece

The fall races appear set following the July 30 filing deadline for political offices on the fall primary and general election ballots.

All 98 seats in the state House are up for election this year as are 26 state Senate positions. In addition, Congressional races will be on the ballot as will a number of judgeships, state and county initiatives and a Snohomish County PUD Commission spot.

1st District

Senate: Jason Bontrager, R-Bothell; Sen. Rosemary McAuliffe, D-Bothell (incumbent).

House Pos. 1: Terry Bartlett Buholm, L-Bothell; Jeff Merrill, R-Bothell; Rep. Al O’Brien, D-Mountlake Terrace (incumbent).

House Pos. 2: Mark Ericks, D-Bothell; Joshua Freed, R-Bothell.

44th District

House Pos. 1: Rep. Hans Dunshee, D-Snohomish (incumbent); Mike Hope, R-Snohomish.

House Pos 2: Rep. John Lovick, D-Mill Creek (incumbent); Stephen West, R-Marysville.

Snohomish County PUD

Dist 3: Betty Neighbors, Lake Stevens; Tanya “Toni” Olson, Everett.

Congress

1st District: Randy Eastwood, R-Kirkland; Rep. Jay Inslee, D-Bainbridge Island (incumbent); Charles Moore, L-Redmond.
