Each House at Sweet Water Gets Something a Little Different

Emmett Lane of Preview Properties in Everett has worked with new home developments in Snohomish County for 15 years, but finds that Sweet Water’s location is what makes it one of his all-time favorites.

Driving Directions:

From I-5, take Exit 206 at Smokey Point. Go east on 172nd Street NE. Make a left onto 67th Avenue NE. Continue north, then make a left turn onto 204th Street NE / Cemetery Drive. The entrance to Sweet Water will be shortly to your right. Watch for the signs and balloons.

“It’s ideally located for commuters,” Lane said. “It’s only five minutes from I-5 and two minutes from Highway 9, yet it’s quiet and set away from noisy main roads. A brand new shopping center recently opened up only two minutes away. If you’re an outdoorsman you have to love this, too. It’s only about 30 minutes from good fishing or hiking.”

Sweet Water offers five floorplans to choose from, with houses varying from 1,310 to 1,670 square feet. Plans include ramblers, two stories and split levels, some with up to five bedrooms. Houses are built using double wall construction for added insulation. Exposed aggregate driveways lead into two- or three-car garages that are completely finished inside.

Real wood trim, hardwood entries and custom lighting packages are standard. Each home is equipped with Kenmore appliances and gas heat.

One of the nicest aspects of Sweet Water is that each house has been built with slightly different features to make it unique. It’s one of the signatures of Professional Builders, the family-owned company that created the project.

“The builder really likes to put something a little different in each house,” Lane said. “That way the buyer can truly call it their own.”

Those finishing touches might include a sweeping curve in the driveway or a special three-toned paint package. Some houses have large windows to frame the mountain views. Others have a greenbelt lot or perhaps a split rail fence bordering a natural salmon spawning stream as it runs through their yard. Lots vary in shape and features, with sizes ranging from 7,200 square feet up to 12,000 square feet. Prices start in the $190,000s. Currently, there is a $5,000 buyer bonus on selected models, making this a great time to buy.
