Thanks to all of you who supported the annual Carol Rowe Memorial Food Bank’s Easter “Hunger for Hope Food Drive” March 24, 31 and April 2 and 3 at Top Foods in Edmonds.
All 500 bags at $5 each were sold. The event had donations from citizens and help from volunteers, including 28 donated Easter baskets and support from Spirit 105.3 FM and the Meadowdale High School Key Club.
For many families, this is a means of providing for them.
Ongoing, we collect new, unwrapped toys destined for needy youngsters.
Again, thanks for making the Easter food drive successful.
More volunteers are welcome for the food bank, housed at Edmonds United Methodist Church. Call 425-776-7130.
