EdCC faculty in new art exhibit

The Edmonds Community College art gallery features the work of college art department faculty in an exhibit titled “Face to Face,” now on display through May 1.

The college offers classes in drawing, painting, pottery, printmaking, photography, jewelry and metal design, sculpture and graphic design and the exhibit, “Face to Face” showcases the skills of the instructors in those areas. It includes tile mosaics, illustrations, photography, wood block prints, digitally manipulated photography and clay sculpture.

Faculty exhibiting works are Melissa Newell, Karen Stocker, Martin Lim, Kristi Gibbs, Bob Potasky, Dan Neish, Michael Wewer, Jonathan Soriano, Dan Dootson and Jennifer Mantooth.

The gallery’s following exhibit, May 8-June 9, will feature student art.

The Edmonds Community College art gallery is on the third floor of Lynnwood Hall, 20000 68th Ave. W., Lynnwood. It is open 7:30 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Fridays, and noon-5 p.m. weekends.
