The Lake Stevens Education Foundation (LSEF), a non-profit organization supporting public education in the Lake Stevens School District, has named Debe Franz as the organization’s first executive director. Franz joins LSEF with over 20 years experiencs. She was the Finance Director with Health Improvement Partnership in Spokane prior to moving to Lake Stevens.
For the past 15 years, Franz owned and operated a bookkeeping consulting firm that served businesses in Snohomish and Spokane counties. She is currently nearing completion of her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Western Washington University, and anticipates graduating in June 2009. She has served in numerous volunteer capacities including parent-teacher organizations, Boy Scouts, Habitat for Humanity, Snohomish County Volunteer Literacy Program, and is currently President-elect of the Rotary Club of Lake Stevens/Granite Falls.
