Fire District 1 responded to 267 calls the week of Feb. 22-28.

Feb. 28

Crews responded to 47 calls, including 36 medical aid, 8 motor vehicle collisions, one fire, one fire alarm and a service call.

At 10:05 a.m., firefighters responded to two collisions in the area of the wooden bridge at Alder Way and Ash Way. One car rolled and was upside down. Another car went in a ditch. No one was injured.

At 10:35 a.m., a sports utility vehicle went off the road and through a fence at 13th Ave. W and 169th Pl. S.W. No one was injured.

At 5:49 p.m., firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to a three-car collision in the 100 block of 112th St. S.W.

At 6:48 p.m., a teenager was hit by a car at 214th St. S.W. and 44th Ave. W. in Mountlake Terrace. Firefighters took him to Stevens Hospital.

Feb. 27

Crews responded to 37 calls, including 32 medical aid, two motor vehicle collisions and three fire alarms.

At 6:40 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision in the 14800 block of Highway 99. No injuries.

Feb. 26

At 8:10 a.m., a car collided with a mini-mart in the 1300 block of 112th St. S.W. then left the scene. There were no injuries, but the collision broke water pipes, causing flooding inside the store.
