Medical Dispatches
Edmonds aid and medic crews responded to two construction sites this week. One patient, a 44-year-old working on new condo construction, fell from a ladder. Although he was able to grab the roof’s edge and then drop to his feet, the patient suffered a knee injury and was transported to Stevens Hospital. The second patient was carrying hot tar on a roof when he heard the roof begin to give way. The 32-year-old dropped the two buckets and rolled away, but the tar splashed onto his face and arm. The patient was transported to Harborview Medical Center.
