Snohomish County Fire District 7 responded to 123 calls the week of Feb. 12-18. The district serves the city of Mill Creek and the neighborhoods of Mays Pond, Cathcart, Clearview, Thrashers Corner, Maltby, Echo Lake, Gold Creek, The Falls, Turners Corner and North Creek.

Feb. 18

Crews responded to 15 calls, including 10 medical aid, two service calls, one fire, one illegal burn and one mutual aid.

At 10:17 p.m. firefighters were dispatched to a chimney fire in the 17700 block of 91st Ave. SE. Firefighters checked the chimney and roof for fire damage and recommended the chimney be inspected before further use.

Feb. 17

Crews responded to 18 calls, including eight medical aid, three accidents, two mutual aid, two illegal burns, two downed power lines and one fire alarm.

Firefighters responded to the 18400 block of Highway 9 for an accident at 3:03 p.m. Firefighters evaluated five patients and cleaned up spilled fluids from the roadway.

Feb. 16

Crews responded to 19 calls, including 12 medical aid, three accidents, two mutual aid, one natural gas leak and one service call.

At 4:53 p.m. firefighters responded to the 22900 block of 41st Ave. SE for a motorcycle accident. Firefighters treated and transported one patient to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Feb. 15

Crews responded to 14 calls, including 11 medical aid, one accident, one fire alarm and one downed power line.

Firefighters were dispatched to the 18800 block of Broadway Ave. where a tree fell into power lines, leaving a line over the roadway at 9:09 a.m. Firefighters removed the low voltage telephone line from the roadway.

Feb. 14

Crews responded to 13 calls, including 10 medical aid and three accidents.

At 4:49 p.m. firefighters were dispatched to a head-on motor vehicle collision in the 19200 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy. Firefighters evaluated two patients and extricated one patient from a vehicle who was transported to Harborview Medical Center.

Feb. 13

Crews responded to 22 calls, including 17 medical aid, three accidents, one illegal burn and one mutual aid.

Firefighters responded to the intersection of Paradise Lake Road and Highway 522 for an accident where one vehicle left the road at 4:28 p.m. Firefighters evaluated three patients and transported one patient to Harborview Medical Center.

Feb. 12

Crews responded to 22 calls, including 10 medical aid, four mutual aid, two fires, two fire alarms, one accident, one natural gas leak, one illegal burn and one service call.

At 8:53 a.m. firefighters were dispatched to the 23000 block of 71st Dr. SE where a person fell approximately 25 feet off the roof of a house. Paramedics treated and transported the patient to Harborview Medical Center.
