Fire District 7 responded to 109 calls the week of Oct. 16-22. The district serves the city of Mill Creek and the neighborhoods of Cathcart, Clearview, Thrashers Corner, Maltby, Echo Lake, Gold Creek, The Falls, Turners Corner and North Creek.
Oct. 16
Crews responded to 15 calls, including nine medical aid, two fires, one motor vehicle collision, one automatic fire alarm, one wires down and one mutual aid.
Oct. 17
Crews responded to 13 calls, including five mutual aid, four medical aid, two fires, one motor vehicle collision and one service call.
Oct. 18
Crews responded to 12 calls, including four automatic fire alarms, three fires, two mutual aid, one medical aid, a motor vehicle collision and one service call.
Firefighters responded to a commercial fire alarm in the 21000 block of 87th Ave. SE at 1:34 p.m. (see separate story).
Oct. 19
Crews responded to 25 calls, including 11 medical aid, four motor vehicle collisions, four automatic fire alarms, two natural gas leaks, one fire, one illegal burn, one service call and one mutual aid.
Firefighters were dispatched to a two-car motor vehicle collision at the intersection of 180th St. SE and Bothell-Everett Highway at 6:52 a.m. Firefighters evaluated three people and transported one person to Evergreen Hospital.
Oct. 20
Crews responded to 17 calls, including 10 medical aid, three automatic fire alarms, two motor vehicle collisions and two mutual aid.
At 11:26 a.m. firefighters responded to the 22000 block of Echo Lake Road for a motor vehicle collision. Firefighters transported one patient to Evergreen Hospital.
Oct. 21
Crews responded to 14 calls, including eight medical aid, two automatic fire alarms, two mutual aid, one illegal burn and one odor investigation.
Firefighters were dispatched to an illegal burn in the 19000 block of 89th Ave. SE at 5 p.m. Firefighters informed homeowners of the district-wide burn ban and advised them to extinguish the fire.
Oct. 22
Crews responded to 13 calls, including eight medical aid, two automatic fire alarms, one motor vehicle collision, one mutual aid and one odor investigation.
