Snohomish County Fire District 7 crews made 94 responses from March 23 to March 29, 75 of which were medical aid calls. One structure fire was reported within the district boundaries during this time frame.
March 23
Crews responded to five calls. Medics were called out four times. Firefighters made one service call.
March 24
Crews responded to 15 calls. Medics were called out 13 times. Firefighters responded to one fire alarm and made one service call.
March 25
Crews responded to 22 calls. Medics were called out 18 times. Firefighters responded to one fire alarm and three service calls.
Firefighters responded to a log house fire in Maltby at about 10:15 a.m. A firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion but was released from a hospital after battling the blaze in the 10100 block of 212th St. SE. No one was home at the time, but three cats died. Damage was estimated at $200,000. The Snohomish County Fire Marshall’s office was still investigating the blaze as of The Enterprise’s deadline.
March 26
Crews responded to six calls. Medics were called out five times. Firefighters responded to one fire alarm.
March 27
Crews responded to 18 calls. Medics were called out 13 times. Firefighters responded to two fire alarms and made three service calls.
March 28
Crews responded to 11 medical aid calls.
March 29
Crews responded to 17 calls. Medics were called out 11 times. Firefighters responded to three fire alarms and made three service calls.
