The Edmonds Fire Department made 95 responses in and around Edmonds from Dec. 15-21, bringing the total calls for the year to 4,714.

Dec. 21

Medics were called out on 10 calls.

Dec. 20

Medics responded to 13 calls, 9 of which were transported to Stevens Hospital.

Dec. 19

Medics responded to eight calls which included tending to a woman involved in a hit and run accident in the 200 block of Edmonds Way. The woman suffered major trauma and head and back injuries. She was transported to Harborview Medical Center.

Firefighters were called out on two false alarms.

Dec. 18

Medics were called out on six calls.

Dec. 17

Medics responded to 11 calls.

Firefighters responded to three false alarms.

Dec. 16

Medics responded to 13 calls which included tending to two drivers involved in a T-bone car accident in the 600 block on Paradise Lane. Both female drivers suffered minor injuries and were transported to hospitals, one to Stevens and one to Swedish. A fire crew was also called out to tend to fluid leaks from both vehicles.

Dec. 15

Medics responded to 12 calls during the day, eight of which were transported to Stevens Hospital for further evaluation.
