Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 253 calls the week of Nov. 13-19.

Nov. 18

Lynnwood firefighters responded to 88 services calls the week of Nov. 10-16. Fire District 1 crews responded to 29 calls: 20 emergency medical aid calls, four motor vehicle collisions, one fire and four fire alarms.

At 7:09 a.m., firefighters responded to a six-car collision on northbound I-5 north of 220th St. SW. Three patients were transported to Stevens Hospital.

At 9:30 a.m., firefighters transported one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to a motor vehicle collision on southbound I-5 at 44th Ave. W.

At 10:58 a.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision in the 15400 block of Highway 99. No one was injured.

At 4:43 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision in the 1100 block of 164th St. SW. No one was injured.

Nov. 15

District 1 crews responded to 38 calls: 27 emergency medical aid calls, five motor vehicle collisions, two fires, two service calls and two fire alarms.

At 11:54 a.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision in the 1400 block of Logan Road. No one was injured.

At 2:53 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision at 164th St. SW and 6th Ave. W. No one was injured.

At 10:16 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision in the 100 block of 128th St. SW. No one was injured.

At 11:11 p.m., firefighters took one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett after responding to a collision involving a truck and a mini-van at 164th St. SW and I-5.

Lynnwood firefighters responded to 15 calls: eight medical, two motor vehicle accident, a fire, and four service or false alarm calls.

At 1:40 p.medics responded to a motor vehicle accident with no injuries at 17909 Hwy 99

At 9:44 p.m. medics responded to a motor vehicle accident with no injuries at 196th St. SW and 48th Ave. W.

At 4:41 p.m firefighters were dispatched to an outside rubbish fire at 5633 172nd Pl. SW. Upon arrival they found the occupant burning yard waste. The occupant was advised to stop and put the fire out.

Nov. 14

Lynnwood Fire Department personnel responded to 10 calls: nine medical and one motor vehicle accident.

At 5:45 p.m. medics responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at 208th St. SW and 56th Ave. W.

Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 258 calls the week of Oct. 23-29.

Oct. 29

District 1 crews responded to 46 calls: 43 emergency medical aid calls, two motor vehicle collisions and one fire alarm.

At 12:28 a.m., firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to a car that went off the road at 150th Pl. SW and 60th Ave. W.

At 3:10 p.m., firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to a two-car collision on northbound I-5 north of 236th St. SW.

Oct. 28

District 1 crews responded to 29 calls: 20 emergency medical aid calls, two fires, three motor vehicle collisions, one service call and three fire alarms.

At 7:24 a.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision on the southbound I-5 off-ramp to southbound I-405. No one was injured.

Oct. 27

District 1 crews responded to 35 calls: 28 emergency medical aid calls, four motor vehicle collisions, one fire, one service call and one fire alarm.

At 9:29 a.m., firefighters evaluated a pedestrian who was hit by a car in the 12700 block of 4th Ave. W.

At 3:06 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision at 128th St. SW and 4th Ave. W. No one was injured.

At 4:35 p.m., firefighters took one patient to Providence Everett Medical Center after responding to a two-car collision on northbound I-5 south of 128th St. SW.

At 6:47 p.m., firefighters took two patients to Stevens Hospital after responding to a multi-car collision on northbound I-5 south of 128th St. SW.

Oct. 26

District 1 crews responded to 34 calls: 27 emergency medical aid calls, two fires, one motor vehicle collision and four fire alarms.

At 11:22 a.m., a fire was reported at a home in the 22000 block of Vine Road in Brier. The homeowners were having a garage sale and were in their driveway when they spotted smoke coming from the rear of the house and called 911. No one was inside the house at the time and there were no injuries. Firefighters had the fire under control in about 10 minutes and damage was contained to one bedroom. The loss is estimated at $10,000.

Oct. 25

Lynnwood fire crews responded to 15 calls: 12 medical, two motor vehicle accident, and a false alarm or service call.

At 12:58 p.m. medics responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at 3711 196 St. SW.

At 7:36 p.m. medics responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at 18600 Alderwood Manor Parkway.

Oct. 24

District 1 crews responded to 38 calls: 27 emergency medical aid calls, two fires, one natural gas leak, one carbon monoxide alarm, three service calls, two motor vehicle collisions and two fire alarms.

At 12:58 p.m., a man called 911 when he returned from work to find his home on fire in the 11500 block of 29th Dr. SE. Heavy smoke was coming from the top floor of the split-entry house when firefighters arrived. Firefighters rescued a cat from the burning house. The cat was given oxygen and taken to a nearby veterinary clinic. A pet lizard died in the fire. The house sustained heavy smoke and fire damage and is uninhabitable. The two men who lived there – a father and his adult son – have insurance. The loss is estimated at more than $100,000. The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s office determined the fire was started by heat lamp that fell from a terrarium used to house the pet lizard.

At 2:43 p.m., firefighters responded to a crash involving two cars and a bus at 212th St. SW and 44th Ave. W. No one was injured.

At 6:25 p.m., a car rolled down a 50-foot embankment and came to rest on its wheels about a foot from a mobile home at 128th St. SW and 8th Ave. W. Firefighters took the driver, a woman in her 40s, to Providence Everett Medical Center.
