Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 254 calls Jan. 10-16. Lynnwood firefighters responded to 119 calls Jan. 14 through 20.

Jan. 18

At 11:46 a.m., Lynnwood medics responded to a car accident along southbound I-5 at 220th Street SW. They took the injured passenger to Stevens Hospital.

Jan. 16

Fire District 1 crews responded to 37 calls: 27 emergency medical aid, five fires, three motor vehicle collisions and two fires.

At 7:04 p.m., District 1 firefighters responded to a two-car collision in Mountlake Terrace at 216th St. SW and 64th Ave. W and took one patient to Stevens Hospital.

Jan. 15

Fire district 1 crews responded to 50 calls: 36 emergency medical aid, two motor vehicle collisions, five natural gas leak investigations, three service calls, three fires and one fire alarm.

At 9:47 p.m., Lynnwood firefighters responded to a bus stop on fire at the intersection of 212th Street SW and Highway 99. Firefighters arrived to find the rear Plexiglas wall on fire. They didn’t determine a cause.

At 8:04 a.m., firefighters responded to a small fire on the porch of a Mountlake Terrace apartment in the 4300 block of 236th St. SW. Damage was minimal. It appeared the fire was started by fireplace ashes that had been placed in a plastic bag on the front porch.

Jan. 14

Fire District 1 crews responded to 42 calls: 33 emergency medical aid, four fires, two service calls, one motor vehicle collision and two fire alarms.

At 9:43 a.m., District 1 firefighters responded to a one-car collision in the 15000 block of Ash Way. No one was injured.

In the late afternoon and early evening, firefighters responded to several weather-related calls, including three calls for power lines that came down and a tree that fell and blocked the road in the 13700 block of 54th Ave. W. at 8:05 p.m.

Jan. 12

Fire District 1 crews responded to 29 calls: 23 emergency medical aid, three motor vehicle collisions, two fires and one fire alarm.

At 12:22 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision at 202nd St. SW and Poplar Way. No one was injured.

At 7:23 p.m., firefighters responded to a car that crashed into a ditch at 196th St. SW and Filbert Rd. A private ambulance was called to take one patient to an area hospital.
