Concerts, free pancakes, parades and a re-enactment of the Battle of Concord are all part of the city of Bothell’s annual Freedom Festival, which begins today, Friday, July 2 and continues into Sunday, July 4 at various locations.
This year’s theme is “Explore and Discover” in keeping with the bicentennial celebration of Lewis and Clark’s Expedition to the Pacific Northwest.
The free event is produced by the city of Bothell Parks and Recreation Division and funded by Bothell’s hotel/motel tax. To volunteer for Freedom Festival activities, call 425-486-7430.
