Shoreline’s North City neighborhood hosts car show

The North City Business Association is sponsoring a car show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18.

Approximately 100 cars of all models and makes are expected to be on exhibit. This year’s categories include 1950 to 1980 Vintage Stock, Customized vehicles all years, Pre 1950 Vintage Stock, Pre 1970 Foreign cars, Pre 1970 Sports Cars, Street Rods &Muscle Cars and Works in Progress, all years. In addition to the categories there are other awards such as The Mayors Trophy, and a number of businesses are sponsoring trophies.

The car show will take place along 177th Avenue NE from 15th Avenue and then throughout the parking lot of the Shoreline Water District.

Admission for the vehicles is $15 and one can of food for the Shoreline food bank. Admission is by requested donation of one can of food also to the Shoreline food bank. There will be canned food to purchase for $1 for those arriving without their own supply.

Bothell’s Country Village hosts car show

Bothell’s Country Village is sponsoring a Classic Car Show from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19.

Prizes and award certificates will be presented to winning cars. The first 100 cars entering the show will receive a commemorative dash plaque. There is a $10 entry fee, and pre-registration is encouraged.
