The Drama Department at Shoreline Community College presents Pulitzer Prize winner Marsha Norman’s first play, “Getting Out” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19-21 and Nov. 23-24 in the Campus Theater.

“Getting Out” was written for the Actors’ Theatre and inspired by Norman’s time working at the Kentucky Central State Hospital with disturbed adolescents. This hard-hitting yet touching and inspiring drama was named “Best New Play Produced by a Regional Theatre” by the American Theatre Critics Association. The production is directed by Tony Doupé.

General admission is $8, $7 for seniors and students and $6 for SCC students with college ID and children 14 and younger. Purchase tickets at the door or call 206-546-606 in advance.

Shoreline Community College is located at 16101 Greenwood Avenue N., west of Aurora Avenue and just north of Seattle city limits.
