Robert and Nancy Gorgen will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house at their home in Shoreline.
The Gorgens were married June 24, 1945 in Minneapolis, Minn. They have resided in Seattle since 1965 when Robert, an engineer, was transferred to the area by his employer, Honeywell.
The couple have six sons, two daughters, a granddaughter and two grandsons.
Friends are invited to attend the anniversary event, hosted by their children, from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, June 25.
