The following are selected reports from the Edmonds police department’s police blotter:
May 16
Narcotics. 22200 block of Highway 99. Suspect violated a court order and followed the victim from a bar. Search incident to arrest revealed she had unauthorized prescription medication on her person. She was booked into Snohomish County Jail.
May 14
Theft. 23600 block of Highway 99. Adult male arrested for shoplifting at Safeway. A name check revealed three warrants. Transported and booked into Snohomish County Jail.
May 13
Warrant service. 21000 block of 74th Ave. W. Assist to Washington State Patrol. Female suspect arrested on outstanding felony warrant. Booked into Snohomish County Jail.
May 12
Malicious mischief. 7300 block of 216th St. SW. Suspect sent citation for malicious mischief after breaking a clay pot and creating a disturbance in a doctor’s office.
Sex offense. 9700 block of 231st Pl. SW. Suspect arrested after exposing himself to a neighbor.
Malicious mischief. 23900 block of Firdale Ave. Graffiti vandalism to side of business. Similar and related graffiti was discovered on numerous businesses in the area during the same period of time. No suspect information at time of report. Possible information forthcoming.
May 11
Warrant service. 000 block of Main St. Bomb threat aboard a Washington State Ferry results in a warrant arrest. Washington State Patrol are investigating the threat.
May 10
DUI. 23200 block of Edmonds Way. Subject was arrested for DUI after a citizen called in a traffic complaint and followed the subject until police arrived.
Harassment. 22900 block of 75th Ave. W. Suspect got into an argument with his uncle. At one point, suspect pulled out two knives. The uncle became concerned for his safety. Suspect was then grabbed by his uncle and others. He was held down until police arrived. Injuries were sustained by the uncle and one other victim.
Harassment. 7200 block of 208th St. SW. Victim states that a slanderous letter had been sent to some of his neighbors by an unknown person.
