Handgun clears house party

The following are selected reports from the Edmonds Police Department’s police blotter:

August 16

Assault. 100 block of Main St. Report of a fight at a local bar. Multiple suspects arrested after they refused to cooperate with local police.

August 15

Weapon. 17600 block of Olympic View Dr. Report of male subject at a party with a handgun. Residence secured and cleared. A gun was located inside and taken for safekeeping.

August 14

Disorderly. 21600 block of 76th Ave. W. Disorderly subject disrupts the emergency room at Stevens Hospital and provokes an assault.

Burglary. 21900 block of 76th Ave. W. Commercial burglary reported at an architect’s office.

August 13

Assist outside agency. 23300 block of Edmonds Way. CPS requests contact at a woman’s apartment regarding living conditions for her infant child. Woman not home, and her adult daughter refused to allow police access to apartment.

DUI. 00 block of Main St. Driver arrested for DUI and violation of ignition interlock restriction. Possible narcotics found upon search incident to arrest. Driver also damaged police car by kicking at back door window.

August 12

Burglary. 600 block of Bell St. Belongings are taken from an Edmonds residence without any forced entry.

Burglary. 23600 block of Highway 99. Complainant reported that someone damaged the back entrance door of the business during the night.
