At Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington, construction is underway on a multimillion-dollar expansion that will demolish older buildings, build a much larger facility, renovate three floors of the existing hospital, demolish the 1957 building and add more parking and landscaping on the north side of the hospital. Work that began in mid-March will continue into March 2010. For the growing community of Arlington, the improved, enlarged facility will be a major health care addition for the north Snohomish County area.
