Harborview Medical Center, Community Health Center of Snohomish County, Lifelong AIDS Alliance and the Washington State Department of Health came together to open a satellite HIV clinic in Everett. The clinic addresses the health care needs of those infected with HIV who reside in Snohomish and neighboring counties, where access to HIV providers is limited. Current reports indicate over 600 people diagnosed with HIV/AIDS are living in Snohomish County, and approximately 100 others living in nearby counties.

The clinic is located in the 112th Street Community Health Center, 1019 112th Street SW, Everett and is open Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drs. Chad Achenbach, Ann Misch, Mary Campbell, and Christine Johnston of the Madison Clinic at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle staff the clinic. All are faculty at the University of Washington.

The 112th Street satellite clinic is modeled after the successful satellite HIV clinic that opened in Kitsap County over one year ago. To schedule an appointment at this clinic, call 866-463-1669 toll-free. For more information, visit www.harborview.org.
