Timberline Park lights: 5-10 p.m. Mondays-Fridays, 5-11 p.m. Saturdays &Sundays, through Dec. 31, Brier’s Timberline Park neighborhood, at 228th Place SW, is transformed into a Christmas wonderland with holiday lights and decorations. Olympic Ballet Santa Breakfast: 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, OBT combines a “Mini-Nutcracker” performance with a visit from Santa Claus and his elves at the Embassy Suites, 20610 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood. Breakfast, holiday music, visits with Santa, plus a mini-performance of “The Nutcracker” by the Olympic Ballet School dancers. Gift Wrapping: 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Dec. 15-Dec. 24, the Meadowdale Music Boosters Club hosts its annual gift wrapping fundraiser at Fred Meyer, 4615 196th St. SW, Lynnwood, at the main door entrance. ‘Light Up a Life’: Dec. 8-Jan. 2, place a symbolic light on a tree to honor the memory of a loved one, at the Lynnwood Convention Center, 3711 196th St. SW. No charge; donations to sponsor a tree, wreath or light welcome. Money raised helps support local hospice services. Info: 425-261-4859.

Mukilteo

Santa arrival: 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, Santa arrives in a Beechcraft QueenAir on the newly completed Paine Field Kilo One taxiway at the Future of Flight Aviation Center in Mukilteo, part of a one year anniversary celebration of the facility. Admission is free; tours on a first-come-first-served basis (guests must be 4 feet tall to take the Boeing Tour). Strolling carolers, cake, coffee and cocoa and pictures with Santa (small fee) are also planned. Info: www.futureofflight.org.
