OLYMPIA — Nicholas Hollis, of Edmonds, recently spent a week serving as a legislative page for state Rep. Maralyn Chase, D-Edmonds.

Hollis, 16, is the son of Theresa and Randy Hollis. He is a ninth-grade student at Edmonds Woodway High School.

“The page program is an excellent opportunity for high school students to experience serving government first-hand,” Chase said. “Nicholas did a wonderful job aiding members.”

Pages must be at least 14 years old but not yet 17 and have permission from school and parents or legal guardian.
