Put on your dancing shoes and head over to Shoreline’s Cromwell Park July 19 for a performance by Seattle’s most popular cover band, The Beatniks.

Since their debut in the early 1990s, the Beatniks have built a reputation for drawing audiences ranging in age from 8 to 80 with their signature energy, classic sound and vigorous stage presence. The band has more than 5,000 performances under their belt and have headlined shows that have drawn crowds of 35,000 people. Consistently selling out the venues they play, The Beatniks have proven to be one of the largest drawing bands in the region.

Performing the music of the 60’s, 70’s — and a smattering of 80’s, too — The Beatniks lineup features Rick Lovrovich on bass and vocals, Bobby Beaulieu on guitar and vocals, Mark Nelson on lead guitar and Jon Bolton on drums.

All concerts happen rain or shine. Concerts in the Parks are presented by the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council with partial support from the City of Shoreline, City of Lake Forest Park, 4Culture Lodging Tax, and WSAC.
