Hospital staff were friendly and helpful

After experiencing a full nine-hour day of treatment this past week for my husband and three part days of repeat intravenous treatment for myself, we found Stevens Hospital Emergency Center to be extremely gifted in the employees they have in operation there. They displayed knowledgabillity, kindness, courtesy and acted with expediency from the triage center through registration and into actual care. My husband, in far more serious condition, was taken immediately into the unit trim triage and treatment had begun before I had completed the registration for him and for myself. It wasn’t more than 20 minutes and I too was in a treatment area and examined and treatment ordered.

During my three-day experience, I spent the second day in treatment in the hospital proper on the eighth floor. The nurses and other employees there were also friendly, kind, polite and very efficient. We were even offered use of their small kitchen for coffee or tea as treatment was ongoing.

In that this was my first experience in an ER in a smaller hospital, I was sufficiently favorably impressed that I would never hesitate to use the services offered there for my husband or myself. Warmth and friendliness abound throughout Stevens Hospital, from ER to the very cafeteria. I recommend Stevens Hospital to any and all who need help. Help is produced quickly, with knowledge, kindness and courtesy, from all employees encountered there.
