Mill Creek/Bothell
Navy Airman Lindsey Taylor, daughter of Sheila Taylor of Seattle and Bradley Taylor of Bothell, is currently serving aboard the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy, currently on a routine scheduled deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Taylor is a 2001 graduate of Ballard High School in Seattle.
Army 2nd Lt. Kelly J. Sanders has deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom to engage in military operations involving U.S. and coalition forces. The soldier is a tank platoon leader assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division, Eighth U.S. Army based in South Korea. The son of Nancy Sanders of Bothell and Philip Sanders of Kenmore, Sanders is a 1999 graduate of Bothell High School and a 2003 graduate of Eastern Washington University in Cheney.
Marine Corps Pvt. Nathan D. Jones, son of Cheryl and Mike Jones of Bothell, recently completed 12 weeks of basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif. Jones is a 2004 graduate of Jackson High School in Mill Creek.
Brier
Sean D. Force has graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as “Operation Warrior Forge,” at Fort Lewis in Tacoma. Force is the son of Kathleen Force of Brier.
Edmonds
Army Spec. Jamie C. Trattles has deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom to engage in military operations involving U.S. and coalition forces. The soldier is regularly assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division, Eighth U.S. Army based in South Korea. Trattles, a chemical operations specialist, is the granddaughter of Judy Polzin and niece of Christa Polzin, both of Edmonds. She is a 2001 graduate of Edmonds Woodway High School.
